Volunteer Opportunities
Are you looking to make a meaningful impact or seeking community connections? The Park CDC's Volunteer Program offers both! Read on to learn how you can get involved and start the registration process. Lend a helping hand when you can! There’s no required minimum time commitment.
Volunteer Registration & Onboarding
Step #1 (Individuals):
Complete the required digital registration forms.
Step #1 (Groups): Submit an inquiry form.
If you are interested in group engagement opportunities, please complete the Group Engagement Interest Form, and a member of our team will follow up with you to discuss the options.
New Volunteer Orientation
This short virtual session introduces our programs and volunteer opportunities. This required step prepares you for service and explains volunteer policies, basic safety procedures, time commitments, etc.
Join us for a session on the 2nd or 4th Monday of the month between 6:15 P.M. and 6:45 P.M.
Cooking Matters Facilitator Training
Help improve health outcomes by teaching nutrition education! This training session prepares volunteers to lead informational and interactive workshops on nutritious dietary choices, health cooking habits, and optimal grocery shopping practices.
Join a session on the 3rd Tuesday of the month between 6:15 P.M. and 7:30 P.M.

Sunset Farm Garden Helpers
Sunset Farm has in-ground & raised bed gardens where we grow seasonal veggies, herbs, and flowers year round. We're planting, tending to, and harvesting fresh produce, and you can help us share our abundance with our neighbors. Plus, enjoy some fun in the sun and soil while connecting with other servant leaders! Whether your a novice or a garden pro, you can join us as we grow goodness!
When: Tuesday & Saturdays, 9:30 A.M. - 11:30 A.M. (Note: Start time varies based on the season.)
