The Park CDC’s free, family-friendly seasonal urban garden open houses are designed to build community awareness around food access, nutrition, and food independence. Programming includes Garden-to-Go container gardening workshops, farm-to-table cooking demonstrations, nutrition education, children’s gardening activities, as well as opportunities to learn about the organization’s volunteer program supporting the urban garden operations. Each event welcomes up to 50 community members, and registration is required.
